Hyderabad, January 28th, 2022: To enhance awareness about the latest developments around Covid-19 virus, and how people can stay safe in these testing times, Business Network International (BNI) Hyderabad organized a webinar session for business owners today. The session was attended by 250 participants from various businesses. The webinar was conducted by Dr. Rohith Reddy, Consultant Pulmonologist at Century Hospital and many entrepreneurs and business owners, representing few thousand of their staff and employees attended the webinar. In these fast-changing times, participants had many doubts about the threats and about the means to tackle the crisis, and every doubt was addressed by doctor during the discussion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rohith Reddy, Consultant Pulmonologist, Century Hospital said, “Covid-19 virus is constantly metamorphosing and emerging as a new variant or a new mutation, which is causing a great deal of concern among the population worldwide! Though none is sure about how long the novel coronavirus will stay amidst us, vaccination is the best available solution to tackle the problem.”

“Foods that have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial/viral/fungal and immunity boosting properties must be consumed. Regular exercise with healthy diet will minimize the need for medications, supplements, and hospitalization. Intestines are one the largest organs in the body which host microbes for digestion and immunity, maintaining the gut flora with probiotics is equally important to tackle this problem,” added Dr. Rohith Reddy.

Commenting on the session, Ms Sanjana Shah, Executive Director, BNI Hyderabad said, "BNI in Hyderabad is a group entrepreneurs and business owners who together employee few thousand people. Like their own family members, our BNI members care for the well-being of these employees and their families. This awareness session by Dr. Rohith Reddy will surely help our members to understand the pandemic better and face it effectively."

With the virus spreading fast and deep into the community, it is difficult to contain its proliferation. The Government and healthcare machinery focus is also on containing morbidity and mortality in the population. Hence it is important people stay cautious in these challenging times, and not feel overburdened with agony even if they get infected by delta or omicron or any other variant.
