The industrialist Viren Merchant's daughter, Radhika Merchant, was born. The wedding of Anant and Radhika was announced by the families in 2019.

The celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's engagement had begun yesterday with a mehendi ceremony for the future bride.


On December 29, the couple held their roka at Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan. The roka, or unofficial engagement, was followed by a lavish celebration at Antilia, Mukesh Ambani's estate in Mumbai, which is also the location of the engagement ceremony today.
