Will KCR's Khammam BRS meet unite a fractured opposition?
With the upcoming Lok Sabha elections next year, Telangana Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is making a push to form a non-Congress opposition front to challenge the BJP. On Wednesday, a meeting was held in Hyderabad where leaders such as Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and CPI's D Raja were in attendance.
Notably, the Congress party was not invited to the meeting in Khammam. It remains to be seen if KCR's political maneuvers for the 2024 elections will have any significant impact on the political landscape.
