Narcotics busted in Visakhapatnam scrap shop

Visakhapatnam: The Duvwada police in Visakhapatnam have arrested a person for selling narcotic injections under the guise of a scrap business. According to the sources, the accused identified as Maheshwar Reddy running a scrap business shop in Yadava Jaggarajupeta near Autonagar.

After receiving information from the locals, the police conducted inspections at a scrap shop on Apparel Park Road near Yadava Jaggarajupeta of Autonagar where they found 35 narcotic injections, ganja-filled cigarettes, and some ganja. Two others have been detained and are being interrogated.

The police suspect that the injections were imported from Kolkata and sold in the city. The Task Force Police will be conducting a full investigation.
