Student moves SC demanding coverage for obscene YouTube ads during exam preparation

On Friday, the Supreme Court has denied a petition seeking Rs 75 lakh in damages from YouTube for allegedly showing se*ually graphic advertising that diverted the petitioner from studying for the Madhya Pradesh Police test.
Anand Kishor Choudhary was fined Rs 25,000 by a court panel led by Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Abhay S. Oka for submitting a atrocious plea.
According to the top court, the petitioner had the option of choosing not to see the commercials. Initially, the court imposed Rs 1 lakh fine to him after request, the court reduced it to Rs 25,000.
It claimed that filing such petitions is a complete waste of the court's time.
