CM Jagan directs officials concerned to look after Ayyappa devotees bus accident victims at Kerala
On its journey to Sabarimala, the bus transporting pilgrims from the state of Andhra Pradesh was involved in an accident. 84 pilgrims from Madepalli in the Eluru mandal returned in two buses after completing the Sabarimala yatra. Around 8 am, a bus was involved in an accident in Kerala's Pathanamthitta.
44 passengers were commuting in the bus at the time. They were injured, four of them. Two of the injured are reported to be in critical condition. The Kottayam Medical College Hospital received them right away.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister, inquired about the incident. He has the information after getting it from the authorities. The CMO gave the officials the order to set up lodging and dining options for the remaining pilgrims. With the help of the district's top officials, the situation is periodically monitored.
