Botsa reacts to Chandrababu's comments of his last election

17-11-2022 Thu 15:02

N Chandrababu Naidu, the president of the Telugu Desam Party, has announced that if the party is not elected to power in 2024, those elections will be his last.

At a roadshow in the Kurnool district, the former Chief Minister recalled his promise to hold off on entering the Assembly until the TDP regained power.

The education minister for Andhra Pradesh, Botsa Satyanarayana, responded by saying that the state's residents had expressed a similar demand. The AP Minister defended his remarks by arguing that Chandrababu Naidu shouldn't be elected as the state's chief minister if the state is to be developed and the poor are to have enough sustenance. Mr. Botsa claimed that Mr. Chandrababu would never keep his pledge after becoming Chief Minister while bringing up some of the former Chief Minister's prior deeds.
