During the committal service at St. George's Chapel on Monday, September 19, Queen Elizabeth II's reign came to a symbolic close. At the State Funeral, which included ceremonies at Westminster Abbey in London and St. George's chapel at Windsor Castle, the Queen's coffin was topped with the Imperial State Crown, the Sovereign's Sceptre, and the Sovereign's Orb.

Her Majesty's state crown, orb, and sceptre, which were presented to her at her coronation in June 1953, were eventually taken out of her casket. The heartfelt scene happened right before her coffin was brought into the vault.

The Imperial State Crown of the British monarchy is seen being taken out of Queen Elizabeth's casket in the video.
