Watch: President Droupadi Murmu pays tribute to the Queen; King Charles hosts world leaders

In order to attend the state burial of Queen Elizabeth II and to express condolences on behalf of the Indian government, President Droupadi Murmu flew into London on Saturday evening. She has paid her respects to the departed soul of Queen Elizabeth on Sunday.

The Indian government's sympathies were expressed by the president. Queen Elizabeth II is currently lying in state at Westminster Hall after passing away on September 8 at the age of 96 at her Scottish vacation home, Balmoral Castle.

On Monday, September 19, the Queen Elizabeth II state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey in London.

In addition, King Charles III has invited President Murmu to a reception at Buckingham Palace for world leaders while she is on a three-day visit to the UK.
