LIVE: Telangana govt announces holiday tomorrow
On the occasion of "Telangana National Integration Day," the Telangana administration has declared tomorrow, September 17, a holiday for all state offices and educational institutions. It is well known that the TRS government would have a big event tomorrow to commemorate Telangana Unity Day and the union of Hyderabad with India.
In the midst of celebrations taking place all over the state, CM KCR has issued directives designating September 17 as a holiday. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar issued orders designating Saturday as a holiday in accordance with KCR's instructions. This will result in tomorrow being a holiday for all state government and educational institutions.
On September 17, State Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will raise the flag during the major ceremony at Public Gardens, Nampally. All 33 district headquarters and 119 Assembly constituency headquarters will have national flags hoisted by ministers and other public representatives.
