India at 75 gets first virtual museum; ISRO unveils new 3D space tech park – SPARK- Details
As part of the ceremonies of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav honouring India's 75th year of Independence, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) inaugurated the virtual space innovation park, 'SPARK' recently. The museum, which was established with the initiatives by ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, houses a number of records, photographs, and videos pertaining to satellites, research missions, launch vehicles, and early figures in India's space industry. SPARK is ISRO's first-ever 3D virtual space innovation park.
While the nation is commemorating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75th anniversary of its independence, ISRO has come up with an original idea to present interactive digital content related to various ISRO missions.
In addition to a museum, a theatre, an observatory, a garden with life-size rockets, a lakeside cafe area, a children's play area, and other activities can be seen.
