CM Jagan slams TDP, allegedly calls it DPT!
At a gathering in Bapatla today (August 11th), chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released the first quarter instalment of Jagananna Vidya Deevena (JVD) by pressing a computer button.
Speaking at the event, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh explained how the Amma Vodi and other programmes' Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) systems function by transparently transferring money to mothers' bank accounts. He has made strong criticisms of the former Telugu Desham administration, claiming that it fostered corruption. He claimed that the previous administration supported DPT ( Dosuko, Panchuko and Tinuko). People must recognise the contrasts between the current government and the one that came before it, according to CM Jagan.
According to CM Jagan, the opposition parties are playing dirty politics by blaming the current administration because they are unable to digest the popularity of welfare policies and programmes.
'I will continue to defend the concerns of people as long as I have the state's citizens' moral backing and the blessings of Gods', CM Jagan stated.
