Andhra Pradesh tops in 'Ease of Doing Business'
The Business Reform Action Plan 2020 rankings for 'Ease of Doing Business' place Andhra Pradesh at the top. Andhra Pradesh was the top-performing state in the nation, followed by Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Punjab, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. The Center named seven states as the top achievers. The states have been ranked by the Center across all 4 categories. AP came in first, then Gujarat, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. This time, the centre has incorporated new procedures into the rating process, which has never been done before.
The other states listed in the ranking as achievers are Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh.
There are seven states in the Aspires category, including Kerala, Goa, and Assam.
Over 10,000 investors and stakeholders provided feedback. According to the reports, the government of CM Jagan has made wise decisions in many sectors.
