Mukesh Ambani overtakes Gautam Adani to reclaim Asia's richest tag
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Reliance Industries CEO Mukesh Ambani has reclaimed the title of wealthiest Asian, surpassing fellow countryman Gautam Adani. Ambani, with a net worth of $99.7 billion, is ranked eighth, while Adani has dropped to ninth place from fourth a few weeks ago. Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries enjoyed a surge in share valuation, propelling him to the top.
The top four positions remained unchanged, with Tesla CEO Elon Musk ranking first with $227 billion in fortune, followed by Amazon's Jeff Bezos with $149 billion, LVMH's Bernard Arnault with $138 billion, and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates with $124 billion. With a net worth of $114 billion, legendary investor Warren Buffett ranks fifth.
