CM Jagan meeting with HM Amit Shah concludes, seeks Central funds for projects
New Delhi, June 3: The meeting between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Union Home Minister Amit Shah concluded here. It lasted for 50 minutes. The CM requested Amit Shah to release pending Central funds for various welfare schemes and projects.
Jagan urged him to provide funds to the Polavaram based on revised estimates so that national project is completed at the earliest. The CM informed HIM that AP should get Rs 32,000 crore from the Centre after 2015 including revenue deficit. Till now, the Central government released only Rs 4,117 crore.
