Ink attack on farmer leader in Bengaluru, then all hell breaks loose
Rakesh Tikait, a Bharatiya Kisan Union leader, had a harrowing encounter in Bengaluru on Monday (May 30). A group of individuals approached the farmer leader and threw ink at him as he was speaking to the media. It has caused a commotion at the press conference location. It is quickly followed by commotion at the arena, with visuals of chairs being thrown around. Tikait, the face of the farmers' agitation against the now-abolished agricultural regulations, convened the press conference to discuss a covert operation in which a Karnataka farmer leader was allegedly caught begging for money.
Following the ink attack, Tikait accused the state BJP government of failing to provide security at the location, according to media reports.
