On day three, Minister KTR met CEOs and heads of global companies at World Economic Forum in Davos
K. T. Rama Rao (KTR), Minister for Information Technology and Municipal Administration, had a busy day at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, meeting with business leaders from various companies.
Schneider Electric revealed its growth intentions in Telangana on day three. KTR and Schneider Electric's Executive Vice President Luc Remont announced the company's expansion and commitment to Telangana by establishing a second state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Hyderabad. Stadler Rail, based in Switzerland, has planned to invest Rs 1000 crores in establishing a rail coach manufacturing factory in Hyderabad.
According to KTR, this initiative would demonstrate to the world Hyderabad's potential in terms of quality talent and productivity. Ferring Pharma has announced the establishment of a new formulation centre in Hyderabad with a Rs 500 crore investment.
KTR also reviewed various investment plans in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana with BYJUS founders Bharat Kaushal, MD of Hitachi Solutions India, Roche, a Global Pharma Major, MD of Jubilant Bhartia Foundation, CEO of Serum Institute of India.
