Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has extended financial help to the families of those killed in the farm laws battle at a gathering held at the Tagore Auditorium in Chandigarh on Sunday(May 22th). The event was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

While paying tribute to farmers who died during the anti-farm legislation protest last year, Telangana CM KCR remarked that farmers can change governments, and urged farmers to unite for a statewide movement, which he indicated he will join and support.

While criticising the BJP-led Union Government for not caring about the concerns of the states, he urged farmers' leaders to maintain their struggle against the Centre till they had constitutional guarantees on crop support prices. 'Farmers can overturn governments; it's not a big deal,' he remarked, urging them to band together for a statewide agitation that he will join and support alongside other opposition groups such as the Aam Aadmi Party.

On Saturday, KCR joined Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to a Delhi government school in South Moti Bagh, where he is on a two-day tour.
