Driver death: Police to take YSRCP MLC into custody

Kakinada, May 22: The police registered a case under Section 302 against YSRCP MLC Anantha Uday Bhaskar over death of his driver Subrahmanyam. He was named key accused in the case.

Speaking to the media, Kakinada SP M. Ravindranath Babu said that they have seriously probing driver’s death case on the instructions of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and DGP K. Rajendranath Reddy. “Special teams formed to nab the MLC,” he said and added that Bhaskar will be taken into custody very soon. He further stated that police are taking legal opinion for inclusion of various sections in the case as the MLC belongs to ST community.
