CM KCR takes key decision on age relaxation for police jobs

Following concerns voiced by the unemployed for a few days, the Telangana government has made a key decision to raise the age restriction for police positions in Telangana. K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister, has decided to extend the age limit for police department recruitment by another two years.

With 95% locality being enforced in the state for the first time, CM KCR responded favourably to graduate MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy's proposal to raise the age restriction as two years of youth have been wasted owing to corona. The CM asked the Chief Secretary of the Government and the DGP to take prompt action.
