India named 'Country of Honour' at Cannes: PM Modi pens message of ‘immense pride’

In a special note, he noted that the festival's 75th anniversary coincides with the 75th anniversary of India-France diplomatic relations.

PM Modi went on to say that India is the world's largest producer of films. Our film industry is notable in its diversity, with films in numerous languages from many places. India's strengths include its rich heritage and cultural variety.
