Pics of Taj Mahal's locked rooms released by ASI amid claims of Hindu idols inside the monument
Interesting images taken by the Archaeological Survey of India have emerged, adding fuel to conspiracy suspicions about the Taj Mahal. ASI has released images of two locations where repair work was recently completed in locked underground cells on the Taj Mahal's riverfront in Agra.
The 17th-century Agra monument recently made headlines due to a court petition filed by BJP politician Rajneesh Singh. The lawmaker demanded that 20 closed rooms in the Taj Mahal be opened to see if they contained Hindu god idols. He has requested that the state government form a committee to investigate it.
However, the petition was dismissed by the Allahabad High Court.
