A threat mail to kill PM Modi sent to NIA office in Mumbai
The security authorities have been thrown into a frenzy after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) received an e-mail threatening to murder Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At least 20 sleeper cells have been engaged for the job, according to sources. These sleeper cells are also armed with 20kg of RDX. According to the email, the plan has been developed and is ready to be carried out. This idea is also linked to a number of terror organisations. The threat email states that he is willing to harm millions of people in addition to the Prime Minister.
The NIA's Mumbai branch, which got the email, stated that it has shared it with several other agencies. The cyber security agency is currently attempting to determine the IP address from which the email was sent.
