16-03-2022 Wed 17:04
Telugu Desam MP Rammohan Naidu stated in the Lok Sabha that the liquor mafia is emerging in Andhra Pradesh and that people are dying as a result of consuming cheap alcohol. He has cited the recent incident of liquor fatalities in Jangareddygudem of West Godavari district, as well as the plight of the destitute family.
While recalling CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's vow before the election to outlaw liquor in the state if he is elected, TDP MP stated it has not happened and, on the contrary, has encouraged the liquor sector, which has resulted in the liquor mafia. He has requested the Central Government to look into this matter since it affects the health of the people in the state.
