Centre to handover Air India to Tata Group today

New Delhi: After 69 years, the Indian government is going to handover AirIndia to the Tata Group on 27th January 2022. It is known that the Centre accepted the bid of Rs 18,000 Crore quoted by Tata's wholly-owned subsidiary Talace Pvt Ltd. It is said that the complete process will be completed today.

It is said that Tata is on a taught to merge Tata Air India Express and AirAsia India with AirIndia. It is known that due to nationalisation the Centre took responsibility for Air India. The Centre will complete the disinvestment process by today.
