SCR extends suspension of passenger trains till one week
With no relief in sight for the Covid crisis, the South Central Railway (SCR) has opted to extend the cancellation of 55 trains by one week.
Because of the current pandemic crisis, the SCR declared on Monday that passenger trains will be suspended until January 31. The South Central Railway (SCR) cancelled 55 trains on Friday, including destinations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. The passenger train services that were previously cancelled until Monday, January 24, have now been extended until Monday, January 31.
Several trains operate from important stations in Secunderabad, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Kurnool, Kalaburgi, and Chennai.
