AP government imposes ban on popular Chintamani stage play

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh government imposed a ban on the popular stage play Chintamani after receiving many objections from Arya Vaishyas. According to the reports, the Andhra Pradesh government issue circular imposing a ban on the Chintamani stage play which landed in many controversies for the last few months after the 'Subbishetty' character.

It is learnt that Arya Vaishya organisations requested the state government to impose a ban on the Chintamani stage play as it hurt their feelings. The state government ordered not to play Chintamani across the state. People expressing mixed reaction on government decision.
