The Central Government has made significant modifications to post-mortem rules. In hospitals, post-mortems are no longer conducted at night. A British rule stated that post-mortem examinations should not be performed after 5 p.m. Then there are justifications for enforcing this regulation. Regulations on this have already been issued by the Center. It was also explained in Parliament once again.

Gorantla Madhav, a YSRCP MP, has asked interesting questions on postmortem in Parliament. He said that the postmortem was only performed during the day, which was causing issues. Mansuk Mandavia, Union Health Minister, answered by noting that autopsies are permitted even at night.
