Lok Sabha: Raghu Rama Krishanam Raju raises about Amaravati farmers protest
Raghu Rama Krishna Raj, a YSRCP 'rebel' Lok Sabha member, raised the topic of the Amaravati farmers' protest in the Lok Sabha on Monday, concerning the state of Andhra Pradesh. In his address to the members of the House, YSRCP rebel MP stated that farmers in the state have been protesting in a Gandhian manner. He claims that the police have been putting up roadblocks for them and has called their actions terrible.According to Raghu Rama Krishna Raj, the farmers have got clearance from the court. He recalls the days when farmers stepped up to donate their property to the state government for the construction of the state capital, only to find out that they were on the verge of losing it.
