Mayank Agarwal creates a rare record with century: IND vs NZ 2nd Test day 1
The right-handed batter Mayank Agarwal of India has made 120 runs on the first day while playing against New Zealand. With his century, Mayank has registered two records in his name. For the first time after seven years, Indian opening batsman Mayank Agarwal has scored a hundred while playing against New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier, in 2010, Virender Sehwag has scored a hundred on home soil while playing against New Zealand in Ahmedabad. Agarwal has opened the innings alongside Shubman Gill after India opted to bat first. Shubman Gill scored 44 runs. Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli were out for ducks.
