War of words between Bonda Uma and Perni Nani
Following the attack on TDP offices by YSRCP supporters and the detention of TDP official spokesman Pattabhi Ram, the opposition TDP and the ruling YSRCP are still at odds. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has begun a 36-hour Deeksha in Mangalgiri in protest. Former TDP MLA Bonda Uma, speaking on the occasion, used the same contentious term used before by Pattabhi Ram in the context of the government's rule. He has also criticised the ruling government for referring to TDP Chief Chandrababu as a lion. He said that with his party's permission, they could dismantle Tadepalli, including the police force, in an hour. In response, Minister Perni Nani questioned Bonda Uma's use of the same insulting term and his lack of moral sensibility.
