Heavy rains pound Kerala, KSRTC bus drowned in Kottayam district
Normal life thrown out of gear in Kerala because of heavy rains from Friday evening. All the 14 districts in the state are experiencing continuous downpour. Red alert issued to five districts and orange alert to seven districts. A KSRTC bus has submerged near Poonjar in Kottayam. Locals have rescued passengers. More rains are expected on Sunday also, according to the Indian Meteorological Department. 13 people went missing on Saturday due to landslides. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday advised people of the state not to venture of their houses.
