CJI NV Ramana sensational comments for women in judiciary
On Sunday, Chief Justice of India N V Ramana expressed his support for a 50 percent reservation for women in the court. He stated that women advocates are few in the Supreme Court and other high courts. CJI Ramana remarked at a felicitation ceremony organised by Lady Advocates of Supreme Court for the nine newly appointed judges, including three women justices, that women must follow Karl Marx's ideology on women's rights and that women must shout and demand 50% reservation. He has advocated for a 50 percent reservation for women in law colleges.
