Some SCR trains cancelled, diverted due to Gulab cyclone effect
Railway officials have announced the cancellation of certain trains as well as the redirection of others in response to the cyclonic storm 'Gulab,' which is expected to pass two borders of the Andhra-Odisha coast on Sunday. South Central Railway officials have cancelled 10 trains bound for Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, as well as six trains bound for Visakha and Vizianagaram. Six additional trains in route to Visakhapatnam were also cancelled on September 27th. On September 26, a special train from Puri to Okha was diverted through Khurda Raod-Angul-Sambalpur-Titiagarh-Lakholi-Balharshah. According to the situation, the authorities have also notified the regulation of a few more trains in the South Eastern Railway, Central Railway, and South Central Railway.
