KTR tweet on merger of Secunderabad Cantonment Board with GHMC gets huge response

Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao on Wednesday tweeted seeking opinion of people over merger of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). People residing in the SCB are welcoming his merger view as there is no infrastructure development.

Moreover, lakhs of residents are facing difficulties every day with the closure of roads by local military authorities. The Telangana government wrote several letters to the defence minister urging to hand over the SCB roads to the GHMC but there is no response till date.
