I was fearful of singer Mangli's role in Maestro film, says Nithiin at pre-release event
Hero Nithiin said that his next flick Maestro would be available on Hotstar from September 17. Speaking at the film's pre-release event on Tuesday, the actor said that Maestro is a Hindi version of Andhadhun and that he took a risk by starring in the film. Nithiin said that his director, Merlapaka Gandhi, worked hard to keep the spirit of the film while also altering some of the original sequences with the addition of some comedy. The actor said that his father recommended singer Mangli for a part in the film, but he was concerned about her ability to adapt to the character. 'I am confident of her acting, and she can act as well,' said hero Nithiin. He praised Tamannah, Nabha Natesh, Racha Ravi, and Mahesh's performances, saying they were excellent. 'Actor Naresh is a fatherly figure to me, and I hope he continues to play my father's role in future films,' the actor said.
