Undavalli Arun Kumar reacts on arrest issue of Chandrababu- Interview
Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar said in an interview that arresting a major political person would mean elevating him in politics. Citing Jagan Mohan Reddy's arrest as an example, the former MP said that it is not a proper policy and that it aided him in becoming the state's Chief Minister. In response to the arrests of TDP leaders under the rule of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's government, the former Rajahmundry Congress MP said that not a single case against former CM Chandrababu Naidu could be proved legally except for a case of vote to note, which has yet to assume a final shape. He said that those leaders who have been jailed for advocating for social causes would stand for election in the future years. Undavalli Arun Kumar, reacting to the water battle between the two Telugu states, stated both CMs failed to settle the problem because they promoted political elements rather than sitting down and resolving the matter peacefully. Undavalli said that CM KCR talks in a balanced way rather than AP leaders.
