Amara Raja Issue: Roja challenges Chandrababu and Nara Lokesh to prove their allegations
R. K. Roja, the ruling YSRCP leader, stated on Friday that the Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL) case has nothing to do with politics since the problem is pollution. She stated that the battery company was not the only business to be served with notices, adding that the pollution control board also served notices on another 54 red category factories after observing that these factors failed to prevent pollution and posed a threat to the lives of people living nearby. Roja said that Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and his son Nara Lokesh had been involved in politics. She has demanded that they substantiate their allegations.
