Olympics: India wins second silver at Tokyo games thanks to wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya
Ravi Kumar Dahiya, a two-time Asian champion, won silver in men's freestyle wrestling 57 kg at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Dahiya became the second Indian wrestler, after Sushil Kumar, to earn a silver medal in the Olympics. He is also the Games' fifth medalist, after Mirabai Chanu, PV Sindhu, Lovlina Borgohain, the men's hockey team, and Ravi Kumar Dahiya. Dahiya, 23, lost his gold medal match in the men's 57kg freestyle final against Russian Olympic Committee wrestler Zavur Uguev and settled for silver. Ravi Kumar was defeated 4-7 by Zavur Uguev of the Russian Olympic Committee. This is India's second silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics, and their fifth overall.
