TDP senior leader Devineni Uma arrested
YSRCP supporters allegedly hurled stones at former minister Devineni Uma, who went to investigate accusations of illicit gravel mining in Krishna district's Kondapalli forest region. As a result, there was a rift between the governing YSRCP and Telugu Desam party members. To manage the situation and disperse the gathering, the police deployed batons. In addition to the destruction of the vehicle, Devineni Uma protested inside the vehicle, seeking the arrest of those responsible for the injuries. The cops apprehended him and took him to the Pedaparupudi police station. Devineni Umamaheswara Rao has alleged that the assault on him was carried out by CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSRCP leaders.
