At least 11 dead, several injured after wall collapses in Mumbai

Mumbai: In a horrifying incident, at least 111 people were killed and several injured after a wall collapsed over some houses. The incident took place in Bharat Nagar in Chembur district, Maharashtra. The NDRF and police personnel reached the incident spot and rescued 16 people trapped under the debris.

According to the reports, several people were trapped under debris after a landslide on a house. The injured were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital. Rescue operations are still going on to rescue the trapped persons. The incessant rainfall inundated many areas with floodwater in the city.
