YSRCP will stall Parliament opposing Vizag steel plant privatisation: MP Vijayasai

YSRCP national general secretary V Vijayasai Reddy on Wednesday said that his party MPs will stall proceedings of the Parliament opposing privatisation of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). Talking to reporters in Visakhapatnam, the MP stated that they are mobilising the support of opposition parties against the RINL disinvestment.

“The AP government has suggested to the Centre to merge the VSP either in NMDC or SAIL instead of selling the company to a private corporate entity,” he mentioned. Minister Avanthi Srinivas and representatives of the Visakha Ukku Parirakshana Porata Committee were also present.
