AP High Court issues notices to respondents of Saraswati Industries over Raghu Rama petition

Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishna Raju has recently filed a petition in the high court alleging that Jagan's government had illegally allotted leases to Saraswati Cements Company. In the petition, the rebel MP has alleged that the state government gave Saraswati Power Industries Pvt Ltd orders for 50 years for mining and water supply facilities. Raghu Rama said in the petition that these orders were given illegally with false information. In his leave petition, Raghuram Krishna Raja has questioned how the lease could be extended to the company on which the CBI case is registered. He wanted lawyers from his side to submit an explanation on it. Saraswati Power Industries Pvt Ltd, AP government Principal Secretary, Mining director and Pollution Control Board were treated as respondents in this case. The further hearing has been adjourned for three weeks after issuing the notices to the respondents.
