Naftali Bennett sworn in as Israel's new PM
Naftali Bennett was sworn in as Israel's new Prime Minister on Sunday ending the 12-year ruling of Benjamin Netanyahu. The 49-year-old leader of the right-wing Yamina party took the oath of office as the 13th Prime Minister of Israel with a majority of 60-59 in the 120-member house. The Bennett government has 27 ministers and nine of them are women. His government is an unprecedented combination of ideologically divergent political parties from the Left, the Right and the Centre along with the Arab party. Mickey Levy of Yesh Atid party was elected as the speaker of Parliament.
