Covid recovered man climbs Mt Everest to promote sustainability
Harshavardhan Joshi, a 25-year-old IT engineer from Vasai, Maharashtra climbed the summit of Mt Everest for a noble cause i.e, sustainability. Even the Covid pandemic could not prevent his determination and he stayed at the base camp still recovered from the virus. After he recovered from the virus, he scaled the summit of Mt Everest and raised the Indian flag at the peak on May 23. He used renewable and solar power while climbing the mountains. He started his campaign from Kathmandu on April 6 to climb Mt Everest and fulfilled his dream.
