High Court directs AP govt to vaccinate senior citizens without Aadhaar in two days
Amaravati: The High Court on Thursday directed the Andhra Pradesh government to administer the Covid vaccine to those who aged above 60 years without insisting for Aadhaar cards. Taking suo motu cognisance of not vaccinating senior citizens without Aadhaar, the High Court sought the response of the state government. The AP government filed a memo in the High Court stating that senior citizens will be vaccinated within two days without asking for Aadhaar numbers and assured to complete vaccination for them by Monday. The High Court adjourned further hearing to Monday.
