US to buy 500 million Covid-19 vaccine doses for world
The US government is buying 500 million doses of Pfizer's Covid vaccine to donate to other countries. Biden administration has increased its efforts to help vaccinate more people across the world. In an announcement, the US drugmaker Pfizer stated that the US would be buying 200 million vaccine doses this year and another 300 million doses next year not at profit price. The vaccines would be donated by the US to 100 low and lower-middle-income countries. Earlier, Pfizer has pledged to provide 2 billion doses of vaccine to less wealthy nations.
