Visakhapatnam: Three dead, five missing as two boats capsize in Sileru river

Visakhapatnam: In a tragic incident, three died and five missing after two boats capsized in Sileru river along the Andhra-Odisha border in Visakhapatnam district in the early hours of Tuesday. Three of them were able to save themselves by swimming to shore.

According to the sources, two families belonging to migrant workers have reached Visakha Agency from Hyderabad on Monday night. They were returning to their native villages─Gunthawada and Kenduguda─in Malkangiri district in Odisha because of the lockdown in Telangana. They have hired two country boats to cross Sileru river.
