Singapore has warned new virus strains infecting more children. Authorities have announced that primary and secondary schools and junior colleges to be closed until the end of the school term on May 28. The government has imposed restrictions following a recent rise in coronavirus after months of near-zero cases. Singapore government has confirmed 38 locally transmitted covid cases, the highest daily count in eight months. The government has been making plans to vaccinate students. At present, over 61,000 coronavirus cases got registered in Singapore. The strain first detected in India has been affecting more children in the city-state.
