SC orders medical tests for MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju at Military Hospital in Secunderabad
The Supreme Court on Monday directed the AP government to conduct medical tests for MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, who is lodged in Guntur district jail after FIR registered against him under sedition charges, at Military Hospital in Secunderabad. The apex court asked the Telangana High Court to appoint a judicial official to supervise the MP’s entire medical examination process and the same would be videorecorded and submitted to the Supreme Court in a sealed cover. The MP has to undergo medical tests being in a judicial custody. However, the bail petition of Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was adjourned to Friday.
